Five Ways to Use Nova

Academic Writing
Select a methodology paragraph, choose Make Academic, and review the revision in place.
Selection-based editing:
Highlight text → Right-click → Make Academic
Nova changes only the selected text, and you can undo the edit in Obsidian.
Creative Writing
Select a character description and choose Make Longer. Nova expands only that selection.
Selection-based editing:
Highlight dialogue → Right-click → Make Longer
The rest of the note stays unchanged.
Technical Docs
Select an API explanation and choose Improve Writing to revise it in place.
Selection-based editing:
Highlight confusing paragraph → Right-click → Improve Writing
Nova revises the selection and leaves the rest of the document alone.
Daily Notes
Place the cursor after a meeting note and ask Nova to summarize the action items there.
Try this:
"Extract key insights from today's reading"
Nova reviews your daily notes and creates a focused summary of the most important insights.
Clarity Review
Open Prose Linter → Filter to repeated phrases and very long sentences → Jump through the note without leaving Obsidian.
Local review:
Command palette → Open prose linter → Jump / Apply / Ignore
