Nova is ready for direct editing and local prose review
Prose Linter reviews clarity, sentence length, passive voice, weak wording, repetition, and complex words. It won't flag comma splices or subject-verb disagreement. Use LanguageTool or Grammarly for grammar.
The readability scoring, passive voice detection, adverb density, and Prose Linter rules use English language patterns. Non-English documents won't get useful results from these local tools. AI editing works in any language your model supports.
Nova works with the document you have open plus any notes you explicitly link. It will not search across hundreds of files for context. You choose what matters.
Selection editing, Prose Linter, writing analysis, Writing Dashboard, Smart Fill, chat, and multi-document context are free. Supernova unlocks Nova's premium features, beginning with Smart Revision.
Nova is open source (AGPL-3.0), supports fully local AI, and collects zero telemetry.
